1. PHNOM PENH - VIETNAM BORDER - HO CHIMING CITY
Bus: There are two Bus companies running direct crossing border from Phnom Penh to Ho Chiming City. Milinh Bus Company (US$ 11/seat, Daily dept, 7:00am, 2:00pm/ 6hours). Mekong Express bus (US$ 12/seat, Daily dept: 6:30am, 01:15pm/ 6 hours). From Olympic Market Station to border, Taxi : 20000 Riel/pax, Daily dept anytime (fill up seat), 4 hours. Pick up: 8000 Riel/pax, Daily dept anytime (fill up seat), 4 hours.
2. PHNOM PENH - POIPET (THAI BORDER)
405 Kilometers from Phnom penh to border, At Central Market Station, Taxi: 40000 Riel/pax, Daily depart anytime (fill up seat), 7 hours. Pickup: 20000 Riel/pax, Daily dpart anytime (fill up seat), 7-9 hours.
3. PHNOM PENH - SIHANUK VILLE
230 Kilometers, South of Phnom Penh, travel along National road
No 4. Bus: 5 Buses companies, Relatively comfortable,
a/c buses depart Phnom Penh several times per day. Price 12,000Riel -15,000Riel,
Daily dept 7 :00, 8:00, 9:00, 11:30, 12:45, 1:45
for the 4 hour trip to Sihanouk Ville via Road No4. At Sihanouk Ville, all buses
arrive and depart from the downtown bus and taxi station. Taxi:
Shared taxis offer a cramped and harrowing 2½-3½-hour ride
with seven or more people stuffed in a compact car. $5/person. Private taxi:
Private taxis run about $35. In Phnom Penh, Sihanouk Ville bound taxis wait
at the southwest corner of the Central Market (Phsar Thmey). In Sihanouk Ville,
Phnom Penh bound taxies can be found at the downtown bus and taxi stop on Street
108. Motorcycle: Most cyclists rent 250cc off-road
bikes from Lucky Lucky Motocycled on Monivong road, Near street 184, in Phnom
Penh city. By starting the trip from Confederation dela Russie (Airport Road)
south past the airport and out of town. At the Road No 3-4 fork just east of
Phnom Penh (Chom Chao), bear right. National Road no 4 to Sihanoukville is a
paved and smooth, fast, easy, and a relatively dangerous road. Speeding taxis
and reckless lorries are the norm.
4. PHNOM PENH - BATTAMBONG
291 Kilometers from, National road No 5.Bus: 5 Buses companies runing from Phnom Penh to Battambong, Neak Krorhorm, Capitol, GST, Rithy Mony and Phnom Penh Soriya. The price is US$ 4- US$ 4.50/seat. All offer several daily buses, departure 7:30am/ 8:30am/ 12:30 noon. The trip takes 5 hours. In Battambang, buses Stop and depart from the various transportation company offices near the taxi stand and on Road 5.Taxi: 4 hours. A private taxi is $35 - $40. Shared taxi: 25,000R per person. For Share taxi are crowded and uncomfortable, you may need to pay double prices if you need a comfortable seat.Train: The railway are not well improve in Cambodia, The train cars are old and the system in a poor state, one a week, on Saturday, the train depart from Phnom Penh to Battambong and Sunday from Battambong to Phnom Penh.the price is 22,000Riel /person. Take about 12 hours. However, this way is recommended for adventurous only.
5. PHNOM PENH - OUDONG
(40Kilometer) Transportation depart at Central Market. Bus: 45000Riel/seat. take about 1 hour and half. Taxi: 5000Riel/pax. Pickup: 3000 Riel/pax. the road is good.
6. PHNOM PENH - TA KEO
78 Kilometers. on National road No 2, Taxi: 5000Riel/pax. Pickup: 3000Riel/pax. Depart at Dem Kor Market, Mao Tse Tong Blvd. Take 1 hour and half. Bus: 5000 Riel/pax. Depart at Central Market.
7. PHNOM PENH - KOMPOT- KEP
143 Kilometers, National road No 3.Bus: There are 3 buses companies offering several regular a/c buses, 4 hours, Daily dept 7:30am/ 1:15pm. The price is US$ 3-US$ 4/pax.ticket can be puchased at the station near Central Market, Most buses travel from Phnom Penh via Kep.Taxis: Taxis can be found at Phsar Dumkor in Phnom Penh. 13000 Riel -15,000R/person or $22-$30 for a private car, 3 hours.
8. PHNOM PENH - KOH KONG
(271km) Border town. One of two official crossings from Thailand.
Casino. Fishing community.
Ferry: Daily from/to Sihanoukville. Departs 7AM from Koh Kong. Noon from Sihanoukville.

9. PHNOM PENH - KOMPUNG CHAM
(124km. Good road.) Old colonial town on the river. 10th century
ruins and interesting pagodas nearby. Easy access from Phnom Penh.
Bus: From the Phnom Penh Public Transport bus station near the Central Market,
several times per day. 8000 riel. Van: SW corner Central Market. 5000R
Taxi: SW corner Central Market. 10,000R, 2 hours. Good road.
Ferry: Departs 7:00AM. 15,000R.
10. PHNOM PENH - KOMPUNG CHHNANG
91 Kilometers on National road No 5, Bus: 6000Riel, Taxi: 6000Riel, Pickup: 4000Riel. All depart at Central Market Station. Take 2 and half hours.
11. PHNOM PENH - KOMPUNG THOM
(162km. Good road.) Nearby pre-Angkorian ruins of Sambor Prei Kuk.
Good road through rural Cambodia.

12. PHNOM PENH - KRATIE
(340km) is a provincial backwater described by Ray Zepp as ‘near
the end of the world’.
Bus: From the Phnom Penh Public Transport bus station near the Central Market.
18,000 riel, 7 hours. Once per day.
13. PHNOM PENH - MONDULKIRI
(Sen Monorom) (543km) One of the least developed parts of Cambodia.
Hill tribe culture. Jungle.
Air: Flights temporarily suspended
Road: Bus from Phnom Penh to Sen Monorom, $10, 9.5 hours. Hua Lian Transportation

14. PHNOM PENH - STUNG TRENG - RATANAKIRI
There are two main legs to the trip, Phnom Penh to Stung Treng and then Stung Treng to Banlung. The first leg usually requires a ferry ride for part of the way in order to bypass the extremely bad road between Kratie and Stung Treng. Either: 1) Take a taxi (2 hours, 8000 riel) or ferry (15,000 riel) to Kampong Cham, and then take a ferry from Kampong Cham to Stung Treng (9 hours, $15), or; 2) Take a taxi (5 hours, 13000 riel) or ferry (5 hours, 30,000 riel) to Kratie, and then take a ferry from Kratie to Stung Treng (5 hours, $7). Once in Stung Treng take a shared taxi or truck from Stung Treng to Banlung (25,000 riel, 3.5 hours in the dry season. 5-10 hours in the wet season.
15. PHNOM PENH - PAILIN
371 Kilometers, on National Road No 5-10. To get to Pailin, Take Taxi from Central Market Station to Battambong 20000Riel per seat. 5-6 hours. From Battambong take Pickup from Psa Ler 25000Riel per seat.
